A newlywed couple in Mexico City asked us to design their new apartment, requesting to find a unique spot for an artwork by Aldo Chaparro they received as a gift. We chose green as the background to contrast with the piece and create a cozier space amidst the chaotic city. We established a small urban garden on the balcony, where the newlyweds can enjoy tranquil afternoons of reading, and incorporated a granite dining table for inviting friends and relishing their home. We utilized Mexican textiles and Tonala clay, among other materials that Mexico has to offer.
